Scenario · Decision-making in complexity
Civil Protection scenario
The mission comes first
A scenario inspired by the work of civil protection teams: incomplete information, media pressure, conflicting priorities.
An alert comes in: the situation is unclear, field reports contradict each other and time is short. Participants form a crisis unit. They must understand, decide, coordinate resources and communicate — to the field, the authorities and the media — while the crisis evolves in real time.
Ideal for: executive committees, internal communications, HR, senior management.

- 45–70 min Escalation — new events, limited resources, pressure from stakeholders.
- 70–85 min Media pressure — public statement, message consistency, reputation.
- 85–120 min Debriefing — decisions, communication and how the crisis unit worked.
