What the exercise reveals
The same mechanisms as in your teams.
The setting is emergency response; what is being trained is the behaviour of any team under pressure.
- Situational awareness: seeing the whole scene, not just what shouts loudest
- Communication: clear, structured, checked messages
- Leadership and delegation: staying in charge, allocating tasks
- Assertiveness: saying no, daring to raise the alarm
- Memory under load: what you stop hearing while you decide
This is only a glimpse. In a live session, the whole team plays the scenario together, each with their own role, and a facilitator leads a structured debriefing.
